Content creation is becoming easier, cheaper (even free), and sharing your content is just as accessible. If you want to dip your creative toe in world of online content creation, then screencasts are a very nice way to start. If you take care with your preperation and pick a good topic, people will really appreciate your work. Screencasting is a also great tool for educators/instructors and reviewers to create recordings of what is happening on their screens along with narration.

While there are several excellent commercial screencasting applications available, screenr is free, doesn’t need to be downloaded or installed, and works on both Mac and PC. Even better, it’s really easy to use and publishes your screencast automatically on completion. Yay that!
